Report a translation problem
“Excuse me sir,” says the Hungarian. “What does that phrase say on the sign?”
“Oh, that says ‘don’t jump in’, but in Romanian.”
“And what about the one below it?”
“That one says the same thing, but in German.”
“And that one?”
“That one says it but in Russian.”
“What about the last one?”
“Well that one says don’t jump in, but in English.”
The Hungarian scoffs at his answers. “And why is it that there isn’t a sign that says ‘don’t jump’ in Hungarian?” Complained the Hungarian.
The Romanian laughs, putting his whole chest into the chortle. “Well sir,” says the Romanian:
“That’s because the Hungarians are allowed to jump in.”
