Xp doesnt gain in coop properly, leading the guest player unable to unlock crucial abilities in the late game.

I think the two biggest issues are how stingy it is with health and the kinda choppy replays that don't replay any non-attacking moves like side stepping (thus you kinda teleport around)

But it's a really fun turn based game, with a lot of replay ability thanks to the card RNG. Lots of cool combos to plan and set up, and I look forward to new cards the game adds

This game has literally changed my life

It's super good, I'm in love with the level design and how it looks aesthetically! It's got so many funny build engine quirks it's impossible to not love.

Wonderful game! There's a lot to like about this game, from the lightning fast combat to the sick riffs of the soundtrack. I think the real thing that makes this game special is the editor. It's incredibly robust and I've sunk about 200 hours into it making all sorts of crazy things. If you have any desire to learn how to make levels for games, this is a great starting point. The editor isn't too complex, yet you'll have an incredible amount of control over everything.

The campaign by the dev's was built entirely in this editor, without any cheating. It is really really well made. Environments and lighting are beautiful looking, and I dig the game's blocky style with colored lights. Enemy engagements feel very well paced out as well. The story isn't done yet, nor is much narrative present beyond short sentences at the start of the levels. I don't think much more is needed in these kinds of games. There's about 3-5 hours worth of levels in the campaign. But I know they will be adding more.

However there's tons of community made levels already for the game that are high quality as well and there's going to be even more content as new players start making things. Highly recommend, even at full price and in early access. There's a a ton of content here already, and the combat feels very polished.

If I had one complaint for the game, it's the respawn system. There's no mid level saves, just checkpoints that respawn you after death with no penalty - all enemies killed are still dead. This essentially makes the game super easy, regardless of the difficulty setting, and reduces a lot of tension. It's nice to have in user-made levels that you don't want to spend too much time in, but feels strange in the campaign. If the devs do not want to add in a save system, I feel like a good compromise could be the enemies killed after the last checkpoint you triggered also respawn when you die.


Other than that, I really love this game and plan of spending a lot more time in it!

It's Halo 4/5's multiplayer, simplified and with the fun gimmick of portals. Flanking an enemy with one is endlessly satisfying.
There's not too much in the way of maps or things to grind for (f2p lul) so i find myself only playing a few matches at a time.


It's free and it's pretty solid so I say give it a shot

Not nearly as hard as some people are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about, but the gunplay does feel a bit unbalaced compared to the original game. The guns just don't feel like they do any damage, and cover/ flanking can be pretty scarce. when point blank shotgun blast fails to kill an enemy. Bind the quicksave key so something nearby, and you can get through this easy enough.

Level design looks fantastic and I love the synthwave! Getting to beat a man to death with a toilet plunger was alot of fun too. Clearly there was tons of effort put into this and I enjoyed this short and sweet return to Half Life!
