A great souls-like game so far from what I have played hindered only by it's sub-standard PC port. At least the game itself is playable as long as you have a gamepad and decent computer specs.

For those having problems with the game performance make sure that your Nioh.exe is being run by your gaming processor and not your integrated graphics. For NVDIA you can check by right-clicking your desktop screen and selecting Nvida control panel, then click on program settings on manage 3D settings and selecting Nioh. If it's not there add it, afterwards set the preferred graphics processor to High-Performance NVIDIA Processor and Voila your done.

I was wondering why my game was running like hot garbage despite having a decent gaming rig, after I did this my performance went from 8 Frames per second to a buttery smooth 60 FPS.

A neat little literature gem in a (sunless) sea of indie games. Many would complain that the game is flawed with tedious gameplay mechanics and slow start which "krills" the game for them. Well the thing is I don't really "sea" the problem with the gameplay. "Water" you even talking about? I admit the some of the stronger monsters can be frustrating when your getting your "sea legs" but I assure you they were just (Lorn) Flukes. But this is "Somefin" you can overcome by being more prepared. If your're a smuggler you need to keep you illegal goods hidden or else the constables will con-fish-cate them. Stay cautious of them, they are your worst "anemones. Gameplay aside what makes this game so "spe-shell' is it's superb writing. Sorry about the puns I'm just testing the "waters". Overall this game is "reely" fun but like all games I'm "shore" it has room for improvements.

Another Game that could've potentially been a great Sci-Fi shooter has once again been thrown into the depths of the abyss. Its been 4 years since its release and it's not even half-way finished with what the devs promised. There is no community, there is no multiplayer, there is no hope. Only Despair, Only Destruction, Only the black void that is Early Access.

I discovered skyrim a couple of years ago in some random videogame shop, at this point in time I was completely unaware of the Elder Scroll franchise, I only had a PS3 for gaming and had no idea what I was in for when I made my purchase of Skyrim. 100+ hours later in the PS3 version and I managed to convinced myself that I needed to go out and purchase the legendary edition on the PS3 then play it for another 100+ hours. Several years after that I got a decent gaming PC and thought it was worth it to purchase this game for my PC a third time. I Paid for this game 3 FU!$#@NG TIMES!

Anyway here's a short review.
Story: While the main story is your typical save the world from total destruction cliche that so many fantasy stories do, it becomes an interesting and engaging story when you have already immersed yourself in the lore of Skyrim from the multitide of sidequests and literature you read( Which you will do, trust me no one finishes the main story first).

Gameplay:
Combat seems simple but gets gradually becomes more intricate when you decide what type of combat style you prefer (Magic, Stealth or Hack and Slash). Combat can occassionally get repetitive, annoying or tedious when your forced to fight the same enemy over and over again(*Cough*Dragons*Cough*) but the amount of different enemy types and different locations to discover means that only happens rarely.

Graphics:
Graphics are great in both the regular and special edition of skyrim and has aged rather well as it is still appealing to the newer gamers. You could also use mods to further enhance the graphics, turning the game into a beautiful work of art. (or to download MLP dragons and skimpy female armors. "Hey I won't Judge you").

Freedom:
An important part of a Role-Playing game is the ability to.. well... Role-Play. You should be able to customize your character to your hearts content and be able to make decisions that will let you play the type of character you want to play. Skyrim does this incredibly well, with the exception of being the dragonborn and having to save the world, the game does not force you to be anyone other than the character you want to play as. You can be Kind-hearted Warrior-Hero, A Neutral Sneaky Thief or even a Cruel, Merciless Assassin. The freedom of being the character you want is in there and it feels awesome to be able to feel that.

Community:
A community isn't something you usually hear about in a single-player game, Well skyrim is one of the few exceptions. It boosts one of the largest modding community ever and thousands of fans has continued to play this game up until now. Dedicated fans of the game creates many mods and sometimes even large DLC-sized mods for fellow players to play FOR FREE! Its safe to say the skyrim community is one of the best.

Conclusion:
Buy it, Nuff said.

Fallout: New Vegas was one of the first games that introduced me into the world of open-world RPG's. Despite being released in 2010 this game has aged rather well and is still one of my favourite RPG's up to this day.

Gameplay:
The combat is VERY satisfying as Fallout: New Vegas provides you with a variety of different weapons ranging from high-tech energy weapons, to deadly firearms and even to primitive spears and machete. The game allows you to pick your style of combat whether its ranged or melee and then allows you to increase your skills with them through leveling up and taking perks. The game features a dismemberment and gore system that makes kills all the more satisfying regardless of your weapons of choice. However the combat system is flawed with the occasional annoying bugs, for example a raider you just killed might ragdoll all across your screen. These types of bugs are annoying but it can usually be resolved through reloading a save file or adding patch mods.

Story:
How good/bad the story is in comparison to the other Fallout games is a matter of opinion but for me the story of Fallout: New Vegas was nothing short of greatness. I can't really explain why without spoilling it so i'll just make some key points. Your actions in this game has a great affect on what direction and conclusion the story takes. By the end of it you actually feel like your choices matter and you'll want to go back and restart it to get a different outcome. Even something that feels like a minor choice could affect the conclusion to the story. You are not forced to help a certain person or faction in anyway and the feeling of being able to do what you want in the game is there.

Graphics:
Graphics are pretty good for a game released in 2010 and not to mention there are various mods you can use to enhance your graphical experience.

Mods & DLC's:
Fallout:New Vegas has several excellent DLC's along with an aging but still active modding community. The DLC's are excellent in both adding new content to the world of New Vegas as well as adding new stories. There are also mods you can download to further your experience with the game, adding the ability to download new quests to companions to weapons.

Overall I believe Fallout: New Vegas is an excellent First Person, Open-World RPG for any gamer. Its not the perfect game as it has its fair share of bugs, glitches and CTD's along with a few disappointing story development for some of the factions. Still its an excellent game that has overcome its age and flaws by having great story and gameplay.
