My advice. Never start playing it. The nickname "Pain Thunder" is very fitting

Many maps with bad design choices
Bad spawn placements (on 75% of all maps)
The physics engine/balistic program is having seizures from time to time (expect to get the most down bad, diabolical 100% kill shots that bounce anyway)
The server hampter at Gaijin has been fed with rotting bodies of fallen WT-players, so he smiles upon us for the meantime. Don't expect that to last.

But if that doesn't bother you and you still wanna play. Stick around the 5.7/6.7 BR (Battle rating) of any tree. Until then you will at least have a somewhat "fun" experience

If you want to play this with a friend and grind together and enjoy the story, this ain't it chief.
BUT
if you are a solo player and would like to meet new people or have some kind of social interaction in these type of games, don't play this one...
Your best friend will be bots that are around you from mission to mission.

Where to start...
Deponia really was a "life time" journey for me.
Since the first release, in 2012, i fell for this world and the characters in it.
It gave me everything i needed. Except the ending. A few tears were rolling for the original "ending". But Doomsday just left a big hole in my heart Poki :(
A thousand and two laughs, some heartwarming moments, a lot of Fremdscham and at least enough tears to give a water platypus a new home for its eggs.
I don't think that i can gather enough words to describe my feeling for this game.
In other words: Tja, dann bin ich mal weg

The community...

It hasn't exhausted its full potential yet (and won't likely do so), but till this day it is a good game for everyone that likes to build their own stuff in a space/survival/"open world" related game.

It's a lovely game for solo or coop. (an inbuilt dedicated server makes it easy)

The workshop is overflowing with good mods, but be careful (some mods collide with each other and cause crashes)
