The entire game is massively better than the original. It's harder, but not in the same way Path did difficulty. The enemies and bosses have infinitely better readability and overall design, I've died about 100x as much as I would normally, but it's been far more fun than difficult content in Path 1 ever achieved. The entire game's aesthetic and general art has also improved tenfold. They've also put a lot of work into making it easier to build characters on your own, there's a ton of QoL improvements that teach players what the skills do and what the stats all do, and they have changed respeccing to actually be affordable. I'm only at the beginning of Act 3, but it's clear that this game is already the best ARPG of all time, for me anyway
