I've been gaming since the late 70's -- my Dad bought us a Tandy TV Scoreboard (Radio Shack's pong/light-gun game console.) I evolved as a gamer as gaming itself evolved -- Atari 2600, ColecoVision, NES, Sega Genesis, PlayStation, PlayStation 2.

Around the time of the first PlayStation, I also began PC gaming, including DOS-based games like Populous on a blisteringly fast (roughly 8 MHz) 16-bit 8088 with a whopping 1MB of memory. Around the time of the PlayStation 2, I also acquired my first Windows PC (Win98SE), with which I started to shift focus toward PC games (such as Halo: Combat Evolved, Baldur's Gate, and Fallout) and away from consoles.

The point is that I have been a gamer nearly my whole life or at least as far back as I can remember and will continue gaming until the day I die.
