Firewatch is an impressively immersive game, which really captures the feeling of roaming the mountains. The gameplay is centred around fixing various "problems" in the wilderness, following instructions from a woman behind a walkie-talkie. The stylized Wyoming scenery, where the game takes place is truly picturesque. The music, which appears from time, is equally amusing. The gameplay is slow, however it is combined with a gripping storyline which features a tad of mystery. The contrast of those two attributes, combined with the incredibly well written dialog between Henry (the protagonist) and Delilah (the woman from the walkie-talky), beautifully blends into a wonderful gaming cocktail. It is one of those games where you really connect emotionally with the main character. The game is also well optimised and runs quite good on non-gaming hardware.
All in all I highly recommend this game.
