Unless you are the one calling the police it is unwise to talk to the police without a lawyer. They are not your friend and will lie to yu to get you to say something that they can arrest you with if that is what serves them best. While in police ustody say nothing till you can cll your lawyer or if you are eligable say that you are invoking your right to not self incriminate and would like a public defender. You may need to wait until your first ourt date to be able to have that request acted upon. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.
