You didn't want us to fire at the battleship we were ordered to intercept did you?

The answer is both are a nuisance . As the last update major play no substantial role to anything . Minor allies are more of a pain than anything else . Actually they are annoying ordering ships all the time, useless because they do not buy ships over 10 years of age , dangerous because after a conflict they quit the alliance and probably join you enemy ..... Dartis you made a hell of a job hear !!!!...

It seems that, no matter how big or small I design my torpedo boats, they get splashed before they can actually deal meaningful damage to anything. Even in large swarms they can at most take on a single lone battleship or maybe two heavily wounded ones. Same goes for the AI, where I see them more as free points rather then a meaningful threat. Without any armor or smoke screen, they seem to die when a casemate looks at them funny, let alone a warship giving them undivided attention. With that being said.....

Im facing France as Japan in the 1930s and there's a CL of theirs that is quite the headache. As soon as their main guns get in range, they just, pardon my french, push my ♥♥♥♥ in. I've had 3 ok-ish CLs of mine fight one of theirs, and I've won, but just barely.
