Game deserved its hate and failures at launch, but the game is a good ride until you reach the endgame for which Bethesda has for years has neglected not giving the game an actual endgame. The journey through it before endgame is decent one. The game is treated like an MMO, but gets EXTREMELY little content for a paid game + MTX store + a pay for convenience subscription .

Will say paying for Fo1st is a major quality of life subscription, and helps you store good resources you will need. There are often "seasons" that actually include nothing new or too little to the game for 2-3 months at a time, leaving you to wait, take breaks, or wait for the minor events that happen. (This is why I have little hours in the last 2 weeks as I write this, because the current season is empty)
