The Pros:
+ Realistic Fish Physics. Ever wanted to understand what it’s like to be a sentient sardine with an existential crisis? The game’s flopping mechanics deliver a raw, visceral authenticity that would make Jacques Cousteau weep.
+Narrative Depth. Beneath the slimy surface, you’ll discover a deeply allegorical story—or maybe it’s just a fever dream induced by bad sushi. Either way, I’m smarter now, I think.
+Humor. It’s the kind of comedy that slaps you with an existential frying pan and then softly whispers, “You’re doing great, sweaty.”

The Cons:
-No New Game+ mode. I really wanted to suffer twice.

“Is this really about a fish, or is it about me?” you might wonder as the credits roll.
The answer is yes.
Play it.
Question everything.
Sob quietly.
Then recommend it to your friends because they deserve to hurt like you do.

I got ripped doing pushups every time when waiting for 'The Will To Explore' to cool down. 10/10

Great visuals and intriguing story. Also, quests itselves are a bit more on the 'sane' side of the spectrum, you mostly understand what is required and while it still cracks your head quite a few times, solutions don't look completely out of the blue, and for the most part are logical, not random, like it often happens with the games of the genre

The game is trying to be thoughtful and reflective but in truth is just boring with unnecessary gameplay prolonging through tedious searching quests, unskippable cutscenes, and vague logic. Not recommended unless you are into existential frustration as a gameplay mechanics

This is an ansonishingly beautiful game with striking visual design and presumably deep moral story behind it, describing the journy of depression and mourning for a lost close one. It is a beautiful piece of art.
Yet a game is a unique form of art that allows a player to experience the author's idea through action, and in that regard the game is seriosly lacking. In terms of the gameplay the game is seriously lacking, and I am not saying there's not much action in it. There are a fair lot minimalistic games that get you a rich experience through simple mechanics. I am not questioning developer's choice for types of action avalible to player, I am talking the way it was implemented. There's no fluency, no freedom, you feel constantly struggling the game rather than living through it.
- You cannot skip animations, catscenes, or extras in the end
- The game is full of points of no return, but has hidden secrets you have no way of going back to so you always feel like missing
- You can not always tell apart where you can and can not go due to the similar design in "walls" and "front scene decorations" you can path 'behind'
- Having lots of no-returns and unclear avalible paths, the camera is also fixed so you can not zoom in or zoom out or move it freely to make sure you know where you are going and whether you are missing something.
- mechanics are not clearly telegraphed
- being a story game, it contains a lot of ludonarrative dissonance since mechanics don't synergize with the theme (as in, experiencing 'Anger' you learn to turn yourself into a cube. Cool.)
- Some parts of game-story don't work together. SPOILER AHEAD: During the course of the game you open new colors to the world and learn new abilities, to each color its own. After opening a new color and gaining ability it gives you a hint of how to use it. After opening "yellow" it hins you "press L", and after you do the character makes a sigh or whatewer noise and that's it. Cool abitily! . it's not untill much much furhter it turns out that with L you can sing AFTER you open yet another color. Wierd game design choice

Overall, developers tried to make a beautiful and story-deep game, but poorly implemented the "game" part. Might as well be an animation short and wouldn't be missing a bit.
