Once you get over the learning curve which is about 20hours in i can say from my experience you will enter a world that never ends and you will get an expansion to this world every 3 months with new fresh sometimes abit blend but usually flaverfull and refreshing content skills balance changes and game changes that will make you revisit the game even if you think you are done with it !
You don't need guides, all you really need to know is
- Get elemental and chaos resistance whenever you can
- Get more HP or energy shield, or both (depending on if you're melee, magic, ranged) whenever you can
- Don't ignore evasion too much
The game seems intimidating at first but to be honest its complexities are very necessary and amazing. Takes about 20 hours or so to get the hang of. It's not a game where you're SUPPOSED to be good right off the bat
