I have ~1000 hours on the game and I just keep coming back for more. It is the best game I've ever played and also the only game that has ever made me punch hole through my monitor. It is not a game that you're going to master in an hour, week, or even month. The learning curve is quite steep. No seasoned Call of Duty player is going to become a Global Elite right away. It takes time, perseverance, and dedication to develop the skills and game sense to become a pro at CS:GO. Even after you learn and understand the game mechanics and maps you still must worry about hackers, griefers, and smurfs. (Something I'm afraid Valve isn't very good at getting rid of). However, if you like team based strategy games with a steep learning curve, give it a try. Just try not to punch a hole through your monitor like I did.
