Sadly, this game is just MEH
Compared to the previous rebooted tomb raider games this game really holds your hand and is more focused on exploration than combat. Exploring can feel very rewarding and extremely fun at times. The story - meh, The stealth - meh, The AI - meh, The graphics - amazing, The climbing/scaling - meh.
The water portion of the tombs is extremely repetitive and just gets extremely boring. The actual tombs/challenges were designed for 2-year olds. step 1: find a wood pole with rope tied around it and stand next to it. Step 2: shoot, 90% of the time, literally the only other thing with rope tied around it until you're done. Instead of having multiple ways to get to platforms or the exit on the tombs/challenges the game punishes you for trying to take a shortcut or trying jumps that you would be able to make by just killing you.
This game is just meh but can be enjoyable/suspenseful at times and extremely beautiful
Id give it a 7/10 and just say wait for it to go on sale. Bought mine for $45 the day it came out thanks to the razor game store which should be what the game retailed for.
