Darn, i love the random encounters. They provide stable battles.
When enemies are visible on map... it creates two annoying situations for me. I either fight every enemy i see until i clear the map. (Or when they respawn quickly, i get into every fight on my way)... or i just evade every battle. In first case i fight way more than i would've with random battles. And when i evade every battle on my way i feel like i'm doing something wrong, as i skip battles.
I know people hate random encounters, but random battles work much better to my impulsive desire to kill every enemy i see than without random battles, which make hard to control myself...
