I don't think this game is exactly 'bad' but there are things that I really hope get ironed out a bit. First off it feels like my character is either moving so stiff I could use him as construction equipment or he moves like he is walking through jello. Maybe it's because I am used to playing Fight Night back in the day with how snappy the movement felt with that, but here it just feels so weird and doesn't feel very responsive. Punches also don't really feel like they connect when they should. I will be up close and throwing punches, but my guy will miss them while the AI wails on me with punch after punch, giving them free hits while my guy is trying to hit that fly that keeps passing by the opponent's head. The clinching is another annoying thing (but maybe that is just me) because I will try to get the guy off me, but it seems like if he puts you in a clinch, it doesn't matter what you do, he's there to stay. Another thing I don't like is the camera. Having this weird camera following you around where it's at right now makes it almost like you have to fight the controls a bit. Maybe on a controller it is better, since I am using Keyboard and mouse, but all the same, it doesn't feel very good when I am constantly fighting the camera a bit and the movement already feels clunky. I would love a more Fight Night style of camera tbh, but that might just be me. Another annoying thing is when I am beating the brakes off my opponent, he just kind of backs away and I am left there with my character jankly moving towards him, not really being able to catch him. It would be great if my guy maybe got a bit of a movement boost or was able to close the gap a bit quicker, maybe having the opponent slow way down. If it does already happen, it isn't something I really noticed. I do like the idea, however, of the ragdoll physics, but otherwise I don't know if it's just it's not my kind of game (which I can fully accept) or it feels janky for anyone else. Maybe I was expecting Fight Night styles of fighting and put my sights on something it wasn't, but it still feels extremely janky, the punch detection and some of the other things just makes it not feel very good to play.
