My main complaint for DS3 was how you could beat everything with R1 spam and panic rolls. This game punishes both of those things and a lot of people seem to dislike that. But just like with all of the other Fromsoft games, you can memorize everything and master it without cheese. It's an ignorant assumption, but it almost seems to me that people are unwilling to relearn the combat and decide that the game is at fault for it, instead of themselves. But that's just how I feel, and like I said, it's likely just an ignorant assumption.
