EA being super greedy with two 10$ battle passes per season.
They also just keep pumping skins and ignore all cyber security problems they have.
I guess it's just EA being EA and killing great games with greed.

I love the fact we have no inventory.
I love the fact every thing is tedious.
I love that it is all a learning experience.

Because once you have dug out that small cave with just your pickaxe, and finally placed your first 4 or 5 machines down there, you know you did that. And you worked for it.

You slowly rised the money. You forged the iron bars and forged the machines. You also broke the games physics 5 times in the process.
As a sandbox you can choose what you want to do:

Mine? ok
Agriculture? Yep
Build a house? Yep
Look for treasures? Sure
Go fishing? Yeah
Explore new plots of land you just baught: Yep
Break the game due to a bucket full of ores? Yep
Go into dev' mode to break it again? BIG YEP.

Concider the multiplayer Local split-sceen only and you are just fine. Now delve with your partner into a world of mud and ingots!

I have not tested the DLC yet but I'm very excited!

Big thumbs up for me. Can't wait to play again!

I love TFT, but i just can't keep up the pace with its updates that change all the classes, the buffs and nerf that change metas and the lack of time to think and take action.
TFT is great but is not for me anymore.

This game brings the feel of understanding and mastery of autobattlers without the stress of big changes and time limits.
You can take your time and think about stratigies, read all the units and items, go make a cup of tea and continue the game.
It has multiple perks, items and units like most autochess game but it has that rogue like feel with some randomness, story, paths and choices.

The devs listen to thier players: we wanted a multipler, well we got it! And still no time limit!
And have no fear their main focus is still the solo player.

The only down side to the game for me is that your army can not exceed 6 units. However there are special units and a ton of banners that supass the problem.

Big recommendation to you TFT players out there, that can't keep up with the changes and speed.
I love to play this game with my girl-friend as we just talk and take decisions together.

I'll advise not to look too much at the flow of negatif comments.
The game is in early access and some of the player base is butt hurt with some changes the devs wanted to try out. Yep, try out some mechanics on their game,for a limited time, for futur ideas.
Saddly it is only the angry and loud people you hear, like in real life :/
You will not hear about all the balancing the team is doing with all the feedback. Nor the excellent job they did do during all the current EA.
Its easier to post a negatif review when things don't go your way, less people think about writing review when they like it or if every thing is fine.
So here is mine:
The game is worth a look at if you strat and auto chess. Good quality, not expensif.

I adore this game. Don't let my 151 hours fool you. i have more off line, so much more. It runs great on the Steam deck.

If you like to build bases and manage random events happening to your people, then get the game.
It is a bit hard to learn at first but worth it for all the hours you can put in the game. And mostly all the laughs!

This game is backed by the best moding community i have ever seen. You could inhance vanilla game play or create a rimworld full of magic ... and so much more with daily high quality mods. The game is truly infinit, I can't imagine this game with out its DLC's or mods.
The only down side is that the complete game is quite expensive and sales never exceed 20% and without the dlc or mods... well imo the game is not worth it.

Modify your load-out (equipment set) with tons of possibilities permitting you to play as you like and adapt to the different dangers the planet will throw at you.

Play a chilled-out exploration experience as you get lost gathering resources in the large beautiful biomes (levels), all with stunning colors and Eco-systems.
Or, depending on the difficulty settings:
Play an action packed shooter where saving ammo, game knowledge and quick smart decisions will mean the difference between team success or failure.

There are lots of small mechanics to grasp to truly feel and understand the Four Classes, Ten Biomes and around 36 different types of creatures, all with claws, Armour and enough bio-weaponry to easily take out a dwarf !

The community is joyful, incredibly friendly and wants to help.

The dev’s are truly impeccable, listening to their player-base, delivering new content, freebies and great looking DLC cosmetics !
So Grab a few friends, Load up on bullets and beer and get ready to Rock and Stone !

Fun game with friends thanks to thier 2v2 mode. I spent a lot of time on the game, its quite balanced, however they completly changed the economy, reduced content and over-priced everything, making the game nearly P2W and near impossible for newer players.

Good but not massive as they say ;)
