Personally, I don't understand the hate. The game is fun with friends and has some really neat maps, with the downside of only having the "survival" gamemode, but that's what Killing Floor is.

Then again, I haven't played the first Killing Floor and I could be completely oblivious to something the older fans miss/expected.

Overall, I enjoy the game, some parts of it could be better (for instance, the game is pretty easy with some good teammates and the firebug seems very weak in the beginning until you get the Microwave gun or the trench gun) besides all the downsides, I truly do enjoy the game and see potential for it in the future.

The story could use some work.

It's an enjoyable game, it really is, but I have to hate on the fact that this game is very 'Pay to Win'. You have to buy yourself the upgraded job/class for 2USD, (which in reality really is not much), you also get some nice items for doing it, but those items last ~10 days, which ticks me off. If I was allowed to keep those items I'd be happier, but alas, I cannot. It is quite grindy, but what MMORPG isn't?
All in all, I recommend it if you have a few bucks in your wallet and you're willing to spend it for a 10-ish day bonus costume and some extra skills, even without the job advancement the game can be fun, but sadly as it is highly P2W I cannot recommend it.

If you're going to win me over, the least you could do is let me keep those job advancement items, like c'mon.

Note: I have not played very long, nor have I tried the PvP.

This game has a secret add-on where everyone on your team is either an angry russian or a child who's had sex with your mother countless times, but that one guy on the other team can turn on a dime and no-scope you with an Awp.

The best part is having iron sights, but being unable to aim

It's about a square that'll kick you in the nuts, take your sandwich and walk away with your dog.
It's also more addicting than putting on fancy hats in TF2.


But hell, I can make my square beautiful as ♥♥♥♥.

I have only clocked in about 5.1 hours of this game and so far, I'm really impressed. It's a great game that doesn't get all the recognition it deserves. It's a fast paced shooter that can put a player on the edged of his/her seat.
Anyhow here's my Pros/Cons

Pros:
Players can easily adapt to game changes.
The game is exciting and fast paced.
Although hard at first it gets better with play time/experience with the game
Characters to pick through with different abilities to change up the game.
No two rooms are the same
With the "Mutations" your game will always be more diverse and interesting
A butt load of guns to discover and use
Nice music :D
Easy controls

Cons:
Screen shake (You can turn it off though if you dislike it, so it's all good)
Graphics. (This one depends on the player. If you're like me you enjoy the pixel-like graphics it is, if you're a new ager((Or whatever)) then you probably wont enjoy the pixels as much.)
I honestly can't really think of anything else.
