I used to hate sandwiches because my mom would make me a turkey + mayo sandwich on untoasted bread. I thought that's just how sandwiches were so I hated them. Then I got a job at a dining hall in High School and learned how to make good sandwiches at the deli station. I found out to make a good sandwich you just need toasted bread, ham, and some good toppings. Now I make ham sandwiches all the time with pickles, swiss cheese, habanero honey mustard and toasted bread. Now I love sandwiches.
