Promising, but there's still a lot to fix.

My main problem with this game, at the moment, is how enemies have the supernatural ability to spot you and lock on to you from miles away, night or day, always know where you are, have no problem finding you in the dark (which is something i sadly lack) and come out in pre-fire to blast you in the face with less than 1 sec of hesitation.
Also the respawns are very punitive, since i randomly lose almost all my hunger, thirst and energy bars, which forces me to get them back up before going back for my stuff or just suicide-attack the place again till i succeed from sheer force of anger. None of these things are fun, they're just very tedious.

Other than that, game could benefit from bigger underwater areas to explore, like actual buildings, and from having more quality of life in things like the crafting of flags, which very early on is pretty heavy in resource cost.

Also, the base raids are terrible on big islands, because they prevent me from sleeping and the enemies aren't marked, so i'm constantly forced to go around in pitch dark and get blasted in the face until i eventually clear out everyone, which is, yet again, another mechanic that is just tedious and not hard or fun.

Other than that and a bit of general jank, game is nice and promising, i have high hopes for future updates (and will change this review to positive if these things get fixed up)

PS: Stores could give a bit more cash for the valuables you bring them

Please, for the love of God and everything holy, fix the God forsaken netcode, it's ♥♥♥♥.

Edit: also, the scythes ruin the experience completely.

Edit 2: the fact that they removed the public chat from matches also removes one of the few good things of the game, which was making friends with those few chill people you could meet.
This game just keeps becoming ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ by the update. Emojis could've been a nice addition by themselves without ruining something that has been there for years now.

The best game of its kind and also the most satisfying to mod.

I thought that New Vegas was the best fallout game

Then i played this one

I never felt this much like ♥♥♥♥ for a game's lore ever before
