Good

This game is a must-play for it's art and music alone, but it suffers in its story and gameplay. The story is pretty basic and leads to some moments where it wants you to feel forced emotion for characters and may leave you feeling unsatisfied. The gameplay vastly improved from the first in terms of combat, with many inspirations from Hollow Knight helping in it. However, it suffers from tugging inbetween combat and the platforming in important bosses/story moments, making them fall flat. Every chase/boss sequence can be completed in less than 2 minutes, and I did it by accident multiple times on my first playthrough.

Also, it may be wise to wait until they patch the game, since there's multiple bugs that you might run into that can ruin your immersion.

The game is far from perfect, but its a literal work of art that's definitely worth the buy

Get mods and friends, otherwise the base game is hot garbage.

10/10 Would Play a Multiplayer Game Alone Again

I find this interesting, but not as a game. This game is like a TellTale Game, except you do 1% of one of their games as a whole when you play The Beginner's Guide. It felt boring and slow, and the game only goes on for about 72 minutes. This game isn't worth the 10$. I was expecting a little more, but it looks to me this game is just wanted by people since it's the same creator of The Stanley Parable. This game has cute moments, and even some good screenshot places, but the game in a whole isn't worth it. If you REALLY want this, get it when it's on sale, the story gets interesting by the end, but still is a disapointment. Watch someone play it, it isn't worth the time. I would also like to complain that the second-last chapter has flashing lights and almost made get me a siezure, in which I had to look away from my computer and hold W so I could progress.
