A beautifully crafted combination of the classic playing cards and innovative roguelike deck-building. Every run offers different possibilities and strategies to score points and unlock new options for future playthroughs. Cards can be deleted, copied, transformed, and upgraded...Jokers help form the backbone of your strategies...Planets upgrade the quality of particular hands...a surprisingly deep set of options takes some time to learn, but is extremely satisfying to discover and execute.

Zoul Dungeon is a flawed first attempt at what could be a neat game. I played the game for just over three hours and I think at least half of that was just trying to figure out what all the buttons did and how they worked with one another. It was extremely frustrating to lose over and over and over again because of the trial and error it took to figure out how to do rudimentary things like increase minion cap or how level ups worked. Eventually you just accept losing because you realized you aren't actually playing the game, you are just experimenting over and over to find out HOW to play the game.

Once the game was "figured out", and it isn't figured out since I have no clue how the "build a dungeon" segment actually works to this day and I don't have the patience or time to trial and error all the buttons and mechanics for when I spent half my playtime already doing that for the primary mode of Zoul Dungeon.

This game DESPERATELY needs a tutorial. I've played for over three hours and I still don't know things about it. And once you struggle through the process of discovering how to play the game, you find that there's a host of enemy types, monster behaviors, and other elements that still don't seem to mesh mechanically. All minion behavior is automated...so if you summon certain minions that are too slow to catch up to an enemy they are automatically targeting upon their spawn, they will chase them forever and never be able to reach them. Also, minions seem to be unlocked randomly, so you could get insanely good minions early and use them for a long time to wipe the floor with enemies.

I found some strategies to work well, but it felt like I was just abusing the lack of real AI in the game and it never was satisfying...like I solved a puzzle or was clever.

I simply cannot recommend the game, it's too frustrating and time consuming to figure everything out without any sort of tutorial or guide to assist you. This has "first draft" written all over it, but I would be interested in a refined version of this game with a guide, tutorial, and better NPC behavior. A lot of work went into this game. Polish it. Give the players information on enemy types and what they do. What upgrades are. What those upgrades do. There's a solid idea buried underneath what's here so far.

But at least I gave this game an earnest chance instead of some ex-IGN ♥♥♥♥ who couldn't be bothered to play it for six minutes before writing it off sarcastically as plebeian trash to try and justify Star Wars: Outlaws being a 7/10.

I'll keep it simple and to the point.

The Evil Within 2 is Resident Evil 7 meets The Last of Us. It combines the third person action/stealth of one with the item conservation and "horror" of Resident Evil. The game encourages exploration and good aim and minimal use of resources. A light RPG/crafting system gives an incentive to take risks.

And it's got a hot nurse.

Devoid of basically any content, Under Zero lacks anything for the player to actually do apart from opening doors and picking up items.

You can't equip any items you find, nor can you use them. You cannot die, enemies cannot hurt you, and you cannot consume food. You cannot win and you cannot lose. There is nothing to do.

You just walk around.

Also, the game functions poorly on a technical level. For a game with basically nothing in it, it runs like garbage.

You can get stuck perpetually in staircases and quitting the game involves Ctrl-Alt-Deleting for the Task Manager, as your mouse becomes lose when you try to go back to the main menu.

Worthless game, devoid of any level of quality or enjoyability. Just another Unity based cashgrab. Utter garbage.

Avoid this game at all costs. Avoid this game like leprosy. Like ebola. Avoid this game like an extinction level viral infection. Do not buy this game. Do not play it. Do not attempt to reason with it or make contact with it.

This game is so horrible, so disjointed, so lacking in direction and polish...it should be a Keter class SCP.

You know, if this game was around...$2-3 dollars, I might recommend it because it is so bad it's kind of funny. But it's $15. That'd ridiculous. Do not buy this game.

Second Warfare is horrible.

Horrible in basically every single regard. Possibly the worst game ever created. Definitely the worst shooter I have ever played.

Watch me play it for fifteen minutes and you'll get the idea.

This game is horrible. Just the worst.

This is literally the worst game I have ever played. The worst. There are no worse games.

I can excuse the poor translations, the questionable framerates, the graphics...but this game simply is impossible to beat. It cannot be done.

I spend AN HOUR WITH THIS GAME. So you can thank me later. I spent an hour with this game and I could not progress past that point. Though really, you can reach that point in about...maybe fifteen minutes, probably less. Ten? Just depends on how good you are at avoiding instakill laser "traps" and bear traps. Lots of bear traps. And lasers. And bear traps.

Which is kind of hard to do considering your character sort of wobbles around like a Teletubby on a Skittles binge. You sway side to side and step on things you didn't think you would step on.

I got to a section where you have to jump from platform to platform to advance, but the mouse button that makes you jump only seems to activate at random, meaning that you will simply walk forwards without jumping into the black abyss only to respawn at the beginning platform (without even the coutesy of having your joke of a stamina meter recharge).

It was an exercise in futility. This game doesn't work. Steam refunds, you are my Jesus.

To hell with this game. I saw guns in the video, but I never made it that far. I at least wanted to get to the part with guns. I wanted to at least get three bucks worth of lulz out of this game.

But no. No such lulz were had.

To hell with Unknown Battle.

Bought this on sale for fiddy cents.

Still worth it. No glitches, runs fine, easy to hop in and play.

It's very simple, just shoot the bugs and monsters. I hope that if enough people buy this game, the guy/people who made this game will make another like it.

It's a game worth supporting and trying out at the price tag. It's a simple side scrolling shooty arcade game. Go for it.

Also, it has more story than Destiny.

Arma 3 is a classic example of what happens when a company simple creates a game that is too ambitious for their own good. A "military simulator" of combined arms gameplay, the scale of the game, the world, and the things inside of it is massive. And while normally that massive scale would be a good thing, it's become clear to me over my many hours playing it that Bohemia Interactive has simply bitten off more than they can chew.

To be fair, I have only played the Wasteland gametype, and I have no interest in other types. All my experiences are based on that.

This game has the worst desync, hit detection, and general instability and clunkiness I have ever seen. Many times I have aimed directly at stationary targets right in front of my face and got nothing for the bullet. Players consistently zip and zap an teleport hither and thither as the server struggles to keep up with everything happening, and the frames per second are quite low even on a very competent PC like mine.

Large down time is interspersed by periods of being one-hit-killed, or from players simply living through the bullets you send his way. The inconsistency of infantry combat is incredibly evident from the first minutes you engage in it. In a game that strives for military realism when applicable, I cannot fathom why the most important parts of a game such as infantry combat are the worst parts of this game.

The only reason, I think, that a game like Arma 3 has a player base is because there is not any competition in terms of the military simulation sandbox game. If any other game had such a horrid execution of infantry combat, it would be inexcusable. Controls are not heavy...but clunky and unresponsive. Player menus in the game are the worst I have ever seen in a game, and you will often fumble through lists of commands and struggle to perform simple tasks like opening doors or simply checking the inventory of a corpse.

I've had fun with Arma 3. I really have. I still will play it, but it's only possible to play this game and have fun when things work. And with Arma 3, that simply is not a reliable amount of time. Kill trading happens very often, and the unreliability of infantry combat reduces the only working strategy to "stay far far far away and snipe at other players." I've only played this much because of friends that also play it, but more and more my sessions simply end in me staring at my screen with a gaping mouth, dumbstruck that somebody soaked up a dozen bullets and somehow one shotted me from the grave.

The DLC weapons are all high caliber killing machines, rendering the base level of weaponry basically useless. Enemies are bullet sponges for any caliber below 7.62, so thinking you can play this game with an assault rifle with 5.56 rounds or 6.5 caliber rounds is only a pipe dream. Fights are dominated by ridiculously high caliber weapons, like 9.3 or .50 caliber rifles, which betrays the realism that this game, I think, strives for. Other players can certainly soak up five, six rifle bullets at times and still stay up. The delay between hitting players and watching them go down can be LITERALLY a second or more, meaning you will shoot precious bullets at enemies that are "down".

With games like Battlefield, Call of Duty, and Counter Strike...Arma 3's only excuse for such pitiful execution of what should be the core pillars of gameplay is that it is so massive.

More isn't always better, and I think Arma 3 proves that.

TL;DR Arma 3 has its moments of genuine enjoyability, but the inability to execute simple and regular commands and the horrid infantry experience ruins most of the time spent in-game.

-- REVIEW FOR BETA VERSION ONLY --

Lifeless Planet is simple. Very simple. But a return to simple game mechanics and letting intrigue take the wheel is something we definitely need to see more of. LP, while still in Beta state and definitely not finished yet, is regardless one of the most enjoyable games I've played.

Ever.

It's an exploration/platforming/adventure sort of hybrid. And there even some elements of horror and suspense mixed in, though not very intense at all. You feel nervous at times, but never get the sense that you're in danger. There is only moving about, some light world interaction, mostly just running and jumping about. No combat. Thankfully.

When the Beta ends, I was very disappointed. Not in the developers. It's not finished, after all...but I genuinely want to see what comes up next. And for me to be so interested in what's around the next corner isn't something I've felt in a very, very long time.

I cannot wait until this game is finished, and I have the feeling that once it is, it will be quite the adventure.

If you want an experience, buy this game.
