There are plenty of positive reviews, so I would write a negative one.

I understand that this is a story-driven game, rather than gameplay, but Jesus Christ, what a MORONIC government we have. Why the F*CK economic decisions, their consequences and synergies are not presented in a well documented, 50 list PDF format? Like can you imagine being a leader of a country(well-developed) and make economic decisions not backed up by any kind of complicated analysis pre, ongoing and post. Just take a russian roulette or trust what dude(or newspaper) "without" ulterior motives said to you. Proofs? Trust me bro.

You know your country is f*cked up when your president, to solve a depression, look for a solution in news paper.

In terms of a videogame, we should've had a dedicated economic tab with all our made economic decisions, with what consequences it has brought and synergies it created so I wouldn't need to go to some shady dark web forums presenting me a PDF guide(that my minister of Economics coudln't) so I could have all region in green in terms of economic situations.

One could argue, well those times are kind of backwards so for sake of realism, taking into consideration historical context, it is quite possible that such analysis are not even invented! What a well-made point, here is a thing:
What is the difference between a game having it presented to a player in dedicated tab(allowing them to immerse into gameplay and management of economy) and a player making a google sheet and tracking down everything by themselves? Wasted time and immersion. I would rather enjoy my next playthroughs trying to make a best economy using game's tools(and be immersed) then google it on the internet(and not be immersed). + satisfaction from making everything good by your own power, rather than following someone else guide.
And the point doesn't sound so much powerful when we have a save option which can be easily explained as time traveling/seer abilities. And with such ability, who wouldn't want to try to have a perfect run? And what is better than a perfect run? An in-game tools allowing for you to reach your perfect ending by your powers alone.

New characters design fails in comparison with previous characters.
Removed classic old maps and replaced with boring and irritating

Overall, even Overwatch 1 Beta was better than this game which failed to deliver PVE and bring any new significant changes to be worthy of number 2 in it's name

Game doesn't support other monitor resolutions. I am by no means a game developer, but I don't believe that with profit devs had from this game, they couldn't afford graphic overhaul to support all other resolutions like in their other game "Into the Breach"

The game has it's atmosphere, but in my opinion it's mediocre at best. The only memorable thing is soundtrack.
PS: Even in Fate H-scenes are more engaging than here. And we all know how horrible they are in Fate.

Why do you make a multiplayer game without option to late-join?

Very impressive for the mod. As the whole game? Not enough. You're already given all possible guns at the start(which is bad), ammo most of the time is not a problem(which is bad), so until late, I could go through the game using 2-3 guns and don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about others. What was the point of adding second SMG? And overall weapons lost it's value which they had in HL2 and become just like play with which ever you are confortable with.(which is bad)
Should I mention how there are full medkits are laying around every corner?
The begining with many voicelines and interactions made me think it will be like it the whole game, unfortunately it isn't which only downgraded the game for, as if it had similar cut scences and interractions as HL2, it would made game more immersive.(ruined expectations).
Following it, map design is good, gameplay is bad. Most of the time - It's just boring shooting. There are some moments, where developers tried to spicy up things by not making player only shoot in corridor, but overall I had a feeling like I was shooting, shooting, shooting and shooting without a rest the whole game.
In conclusion, I wana say that I'm very suprised by how moders can create such game. Even with all mistakes, sometimes I felt like I was playing HL2, mostly due to voice actors. But unfortunately, it is the only thing, which game sometimes could succesfully bring from HL2.
It is unfair to compare this games, but as Entropy trying to take place in HL universe, I belive it has to aim to gameplay and overall atmosphere of the original game, which created this universe.

Thanks Paradox Interective for buying it. It's a meme for your games to sell every good idea in dlc, but this game is not yours originaly and I will not accept this policy.

I'm waiting for full release.
