I can't be bothered to write a long review. This game is simply incomplete and the original is better. Bugs, bad optimization, cheaters, the new graphics are harder to read than the old ones. Some civs have been reimagined and changed with low quality unit voicelines. I loved this game, but i can't stand seeing it in this condition. I'm done with Microsoft remasters. They're all worse than the previous ones.

Update: as of January 2021 the game still has some flaws, but some improvement has been made already. If you are a fan of the original game at this point i would recommend trying this game out, maybe even a few months from now when this sees a few extra updates.
