PLayed through on veteran difficulty and got the game like 2 weeks after launch..the game is excellent in all facets, just finished xcom1 a week ago and couldnt wait for this, so much strategic plans involved and depth to customizations and character development. theres different ways to build a class and thats a breathe of fresh air. no crashes and a few visual glitches nothing game breaking after 68 hours. The game grabs you from the rip even if your not into turnbased or strategy. 9/10 must have. cant wait to try my legnedary ironman playthrough where all decisions are final, so i cant cheat rng lol.

Never was into a kind of turnbased strat game..never like isometric games...never liked not being in control of my character fully...never thought id like this game...
Took me long enough to try it and I was hooked line and sunk. game grabbed me from the start, i put work into it and careful on all my decisions i made on battlefield and at command. Awesome game, love the different variations to build stuff and ways to craft your soldiers skills. can be unfair at times but hey thats statistics.
Best and only strat game i ever played and now im onto xcom 2!!

you know from 2001 - 2007 i was away from the world..as a hardcore gamer i left and returned the same, i love great games. i didnt get to enjoy this till 2015..after over 6 years of playing great AAA games and watching ps3 > ps4> built my beast of a PC played the best of the best from today...AND for real halflife 2 is soo awesome in many ways..the lore (i wish there was more) buts its so atmospheric and just keeps you playing. and that is HARD to do for me. even over 11 + years after its release this game is in my top 10 of all time. ..the gunplay is so smooth and the story crafted and how it unfolds it mere perfection..and the game runs so good with little bugs to hamper immersion. i thoroughly enjoyed the Stalker games to the max..and they are bug riddled, but HL2 is a masterpiece for its time, even today. the amount of value for hours of gameplay is so great too!
HALF LIFE 3 confirmed haha

Early Access Review
feels great..the movement and flow, aiming is precise, and just plain fun..so easy to lose hours of your day killing Zeds.Once you learn the maps and kiting things and what your class can and cannot do then you get a feel for KF2.,..grab this if you enjoy ANY type of co op zombie smashing tons of Blood and gore body parts littered all over the place game. even though its early access i have seen one crash and just a few animation bugs from a litter of Zeds. On normal mode you dont need to communicate that much just hope for a decent team comp. As far as the higher difficulties yeah you better get to talking.
Its in early access so im sure they will make up for some perks for classes and balancing things out, im sure content will roll out soon.

Good stuff..i love these old school fps games especially sci fi horror esque. fluid combat and precise aiming. skill plays a part which i love. eerie atmosphere, diverse landscapes eg mars research facility. Awesome enemies and the game gets more intense as you progress and the weapons are sweet you get better ones down the line..got to kill a few demons with the chainsaw its a MUST the trek is well paced and the sound effects are gnarly, got a few good jump scares and the last boss battle is hard body..when you get the kill and the bad guy falls, then the credits roll; and that heavy metal sound track plays!! you feel like a LEGITIMATE BAD ASS also has some great Lore too it, not just a kill fest and thats it..the lore is in depth if you read it and its not overwhelming either like books, if you follow it you understand what happend and it makes sense too great story!!...well worth the bux ..grab it ..ESPECIALLY if its on steam sale. 8/10 and you get your moneys worth it is a nice long journey thats not copy and pasted.
only cons kinda wish that choices made changed outcomes and consequences and that there was some more alternate routes to take to increase replayability (but hey its doom) and i wish (maybe i didnt find a way) you could hot key throwing NADES instead of having to equip then toss.

Ahh the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series..the most underrated series period IMO period. More on topic the most underrated series with the tag of post apocalyptic. Call of Pripyat is the best in the series, but they all are epic games. your thrown into whats called the ZONE. this is also based off of true accouts, the area and mutants and town names are historical to the incident that happend at chernobly nppc in 1986 it truly was a nuclear fallout. They took this historical incident added an AWESOME game engine that gives top notch sound effects immersion and unforgiving landscape that has Anomalies which are from the nuclear fallout that can kill you in a flash, add a dash of bandits, military, Duty, Freedom and the INSANE Monoliths that since game 1 in the trilogy have been a hemmoroid on your butt that wants to destroy you, add AI that DO NOT miss you so you better be on your toes and get real friendly with your quicksave button..remember far cry 2? times that by 8!! The game engine isnt without its faults that has some optimization and flaws with some quests but since most things are patched and fine.
Theres something about the stalker series, the ZONE and the landscape how everything is a threat. It just leaves an imprint in your mind of this world. Very immersive and great game i will forever compare other games to this series in a post apocalyptic setting this set the bar. also a great conclusion to the series based on your deeds..If i could pick any game in the the world to have another game to a series than this would be it.

Im big on Clear Sky as some are critical of it. Dont get it twisted this game is TOUGH AS NAILS, you will die..over and over, not knowing how or why, grenade spam is REAL, Enemies bullets defy gravity and do matrix stuff to find you. If you play on veteran or master then you will break a computer component in frustration. you think dark souls is tough..Souls games cant hold a candle to this game especially. But yet i loved ever tortorous moment because i finished it. Also i havent played Call of Pripyat yet but played and completed Stalker Shadow of Chernobly and loved it..even though i didnt play it till mid 2015.
But Clear Sky is every bit of enjoyable with that sense of Immersion that a post apocalyptic game really can give you. Sound effects are gnarly, the added elements and different characters (well not design wise) and there personalities. Dangerous.. check, Immersive.. Check, great visuals with the dynamic lighting (if your rig supports).. Check, sound effects make your skin crawl...Check.
All the while if you play the first one you get to revisit these places but the this game clear sky is set a few years before Shadow of Chernobly. Its great to see how the Zone has changed from game to game..remebering where dangerous spots were before might not be there in the other game.
Love the Plot that the Zone (which is where the melt down occured) is living and breathing and has its own life force..how theres different factions fighting among each other over beliefs of the Zone, like some want to research it others want to kill everything in it. Hippies peace and love Yin Yang stuff..i finished game in 70 hours..death total...220. its BRUTAL
Great game 9/10

ahh im revisiting this via mods on my pc. before i logged over 200+ hours on ps3 when it released..the vanilla version with no dlcs.
What i remember of this game is addiction..wanted to play nonstop. at the time it was supreme and still is for that matter, just the open world alone is magnificent, enjoyable and memorable. I thought of this world for along time when i wasnt playing.
If you can look past the bugs that bethesda games normally have, the older engine it runs on, occasional crashes, lack of core story to go on/cutscenes etc. and npcs that lack substance and just dont make you care for them EXCEPT DOGMEAT!! and a clunky UI/pipboy that takes some adjustng too BUT with mods recently its all easy peasy!
Then you got yourself a perfect game....however even when factoring in the cons this epic Game is held up alone just by the world and freedom to explore/hoard items!
Its the original King of post apocalyptic open world RPGs and dont let anyone tell you other wise.
TY Todd Howard and Bethesda for breaking the barriers down and setting forth what post apocalyptic rpgs should all be compared too in the grand scheme of things

Love project red and what they did with this series, love the freedom to explore which is immense yet no where compared to Witcher 3. love the choices and how it shapes your experience and game outcome. Love the emotion bonds you form with people. Its a perfect game and movie at the same time. but i write the script. Also i appreciate the foundation of game and roots from which the true masterpieces such as witcher 3 have evolved from. Must play before 3 YET after 1! IMO. If story and plot is even close to 1/3 rd of your thing.
Yeah the combat is a bit off and take a little adjusting but if you play it you adapt. this is in my Top 10 of all time....9/10

Anytime theres a game thats as flawless and close to perfect as witcher 3..You have to respect the series as a whole..you have to respect the devs and there evolution of the game and story line. The roots. and the genesis of a Masterful series like the witcher. I recommend playing this first then Witcher 2 and finally 3. That way you see the history and direction it takes.
How each game gets better than the last yet somehow they all are epic in there own way and time frame. 8.5/10 Oh and Amazing INTRO before you hit the start button, for its time it was so nostalgic..if its your first time playing dont start right away check out that cutscene before the game starts. :) Geralt of Rivia is an absolute beast. to this day!
