The game does really well in the fact that it includes so many fine details abouts racism and corruption at the time that in the beginning you'll find yourself fully submersed. However, the beginning is probably the best bit... After that it becomes repetitive as you work to take down districts. At first this is fun but the district mission are the exam same but with a change in the prop you have to destroy/the wording of the mission.

Also, as much as I enjoyed the gun fights which has a really good mechanic to which you can almost feel the bullet hitting them I was really disappointed the AI of the character, it's beyond basic with being able to run right infront of them then crouching down without being noticed.

Regardless of the small issue of repetitiveness and the ridiculous AI, I really did enjoy the story of this game and the animations are fantastic, I loved the story and the character development but above all else I love how they tried to capture what South America was really like in the 1960/70's. I really do hope there is another Mafia game.
