I am 27.

My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and adopted our son together. They are now both 4 years old.

When we were going through our separation, I found myself lost and miserable. I was self destructive. I got so mad one day from everything spiraling out of my control that I punched some concrete in a moment of overwhelming emotion. That caused me to break my 5th metacarpal in my right hand... my working hand... my profile-reading hand.. the hand that I held and carried my children to bed with.. The hand I desperately needed to make sure I could continue to provide.

After learning of the severity of my self-inflicted damage, I was borderline suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man with no history of depression or anxiety. I have never had fits of rage, or been one to break down and cry, but I was in a low spot that just really buried me from being able to see the light on the other side.

I fully understand the shock you might have by what has just happened but I wish to assure you, I am quite sound of mind. This is because I am fully certain that he [James McGill] had switched the two numbers, namely the 1 and 6. I knew it was 1216 because it was one number away from the year in which the Magna Carta was signed, and this is a detail I wouldn’t easily forget. I just couldn’t explain any way that it was him. This is because he covered up any proof which would get him into trouble. He has done this by bribing the man who worked at the copy shop. I know you don’t believe me but this isn’t the first time that he has been deviant. In his past he has done other questionable things. An example is his billboard. One may deduce that due to the seemingly low probability of the billbord falling naturally, some other work such as his own could have been into play.
