A very rough start, but after several updates adding much needed features such as compatibility with previous games/DLCs, I can finally say it works, mostly.
Whilst the occasional bug is nothing new to the series, this still doesn't run perfectly.
In terms of campaigns, the previous game will give your more bang for your buck if bought on sale, though since this one is the one being supported and updated that may not be true in the future.
