Ok, I'm 40 hours in and I am loving every minute of this. The fact this is very very early access and I'm enjoying myself this much makes me so excited to see where GGG is going to take this.

There's a few bugs (of course), I haven't experienced any crashes myself though. There's a few clunky things and a lot of the content isn't implemented into the game yet. It's early access! Yet what is currently implemented is more than enough to hold my attention for a long while.

Loving the gameplay, enemy/boss designs and the changes GGG has made. (Game speeds up y'all, POE1 feels slow if you don't know what your doing as well.....) The game is drop dead gorgeous and things feel more streamlined. I don't have to basically present and defend a thesis to onboard new players.

Crafting and the new gem system feel much more accessible. There's still an insane amount of complexity to be found if wanted, but they do put the bumper lanes up and guide you along if you are new.

Lots of folks just wanted exactly POE 1 with a graphical face lift and new story. After 1400+ hours of the original, I get the disappointment in that, but I'm much more happy with the game evolving.
