PSO2 Review : 8/10. I have a good moments in the past 4000 hours gameplay.

> Superb character customization even before NGS update.
> Various class combination you can try and deep mechanics for every weapons.
> Complex gearing system that makes you scratch your head and feels like a mad genius when you figured out how it works.
> Great community i ever seen in MMOs. Heck, i even saw someone held virtual wedding in alliance quarters LOL.
> [Before NGS] you can get mission pass (battle pass thing) and shop pass 3 days with IN-GAME CURRENCY. I never seen free to play games so F2P friendly this much.

NGS Review : This game is good, but can get more better in the future. 5/10

First, the good thing :
> Even more complex character customization
> All class now feels more fluid and anybody can master it easily compared to old PSO2.
> Gearing system now is more straight-forward and anybody can do it.
> It's impressive that they're using the same engine from 2012 and they made the games looks beautiful in every places.

Then, here's the bad thing :
As for now, NGS feels so empty and barely have any reason to play for an hour. NGS also feels like a downgrade in terms of content from base PSO2. No alliance quarters, no personal quarters, no daily client orders to keep player busy, no shop pass for F2P players, and so on. The only reason you play after you done max level your character to lv 20 is waiting for heavy rain then kill gigantix and that's it.

You can also try base PSO2 which has 8 years of contents in it while waiting for NGS new content. But also playing base PSO2 for now has some problem. Here's the catch :

There is no event update or urgent quest schedule anymore for base PSO2 as if they completely forget that NGS IS an EXPANSION NOT REPLACEMENT. SEGA should keep working on PSO2 content so new and old player have reason to play base PSO2. There's no point making seamless transfer block if you kill PSO2 contents.

If you aim for playing NGS only, i don't recommend this games for now.
