The amount of times I've had to arrest myself for murder in this game is astounding.

Battanian Fian Spam is my favourite meta in any game I've ever played.

There's something sickeningly, but also beautifully entertaining about watching a volley of hundreds of arrows shred through an army of fresh recruits. The sea of green in the kill feed moves me, emotionally, in a way that I could never fully explain.

Whenever I see the enemy commander, a lord or king in fancy armour - no matter how many Cataphracts or else may attempt to intercept me. I set my eyes on their gaudy (often golden) helmets, and swing my Rhomphalia towards their skulls.

That was how I killed the King of Sturgia, Raganvad, at the battle of Uthelheim Castle, as he attempted to besiege it. He stood no chance, for he didn't even turn to see me - and I must say, the joy I felt seeing the Red Skull appear next to his name had me giddy for some time.

My only regret is that I didn't have the Decapitation mod.

But alas, at the end of a battle when all is said and done, sometimes I'll take my horse and ride through the sea of countless corpses. All made of foes I have outwitted on the battlefield through careful skirmish tactics. What do I feel? A disturbing sense of pride.

Don't get me wrong, I'm quite the empath irl - but whenever I'm angry or stressed, and want catharsis, this is the game I turn to.

This game is so, so precious.

My gods.

I can't even.

I love mysteries and puzzles, and holy ♥♥♥♥, this game has both in truckloads. I wish I could go back and play it for the first time again, both base game and DLC.

Like, seriously, just buy it.

It may seem tedious and confusing at times, but it's okay, you'll get there.

And when you do get there, take a seat by the fire, and listen to the music. Relish in it, every last second.

When you do, I hope you also understand that all things must end eventually.

For without an end, nothing new can begin.

Good luck, Hatchling.

The Tale the Obra Dinn, for me, has been solved.

I feel really accomplished in that fact. There's a sort of warm fuzzy feeling after solving the mystery, and piecing everything together, that everything just seems to click.

Sure, Identifying people who barely appear in the memories is a struggle. However, Lucas Pope is very clever in his crafting this story in making sure that something is apparent and clear to those who are observant enough to see it. When do spot these small details and establish the links, everything just seems so wonderfully concise that you can't help but go 'Wow'.

I went into this game as blind as humanly possible. I played the demo a long time ago, and waited.

I'll say this - I am beyond impressed. The feelings of Horror and Shock as I invested my hours, mind and soul into this story had me so jumpy and excited. Each death I saw never failed to make me go 'Woah'. Each time I followed the soul from the bodies that flew into the sails of the Obra Dinn, I just and followed as it whisked me away to yet another body which I could I could also say 'Woah' to.

In short, Lucas Pope, you're as legendary as the Tale of the Obra Dinn. This Game I will revisit in the next years to come, and I really do hope to be whisked away in it's mystery once more.

It's... Very hard to put VRChat into words. There's a lot of stuff. There's a lot of people. All of them so diverse, there is no conceivable way to properly do justice to all of them in a single little game review.

The concept of VRChat is simple. Be whatever you want to be, and represent yourself however you wish. Then, go talk to other people who are being what they want to be, and representing themselves how they wish.

Not to be sappy - but It's given a lot of socially awkward people an outlet to be honest with themselves, and make brilliant, and perhaps even life-long friends that they know they can depend on if it comes to it. Alike to me, I think I most certainly have.

VRChat is a constantly pulsating, merging, messy and diverse community which allows for unique interaction with people that would be impossible in reality. That - is an achievement for Virtual Reality.

Memes, nekos and headpats aside - VRchat is a stroke of genius which allows thousands of people to collaborate and create whole fantastic worlds which anyone can visit.

Any product that can do that, and is free, is an instant winner for me.

At least, that's my view.
