If life was easy, what would be the point in living?

Without a doubt, everyone wants to have a good life. But what really is a good life? Is it fulfilling material desires? Is it being financially stable? Starting a family? Getting through until your time has come? You can ask a number of people and you may get a number of answers. It all depends on who you ask. What do you want in life?

The important thing about life is having a goal. Your job is to fulfill that goal. Once you have done it, you may rest easy. But that does not necessarily mean that your goal is something that has to be completed within your lifetime. Some goals are carried through generations through a family motto, or a family name. Rockefeller is a prime example of a person who’s goal to give back to the community with his illustrious Rockefeller center is an ongoing goal of his that still stands today.

But how do you achieve your goal.

Everyone has certainly had times in their life where they wish achieving something was effortless. Sometimes you may be given a daunting task and wish it were far far easier to accomplish. Sometimes and ends to a mean is justified. But any work you put in to achieve your goal is well worth it, regardless of the outcome.

If you knew that everything was going to be ok from one day to the next, what would be the point in living? You would just move on through the days without worry, knowing nothing can or will go wrong, and that you would live a safe, danger-free, worry free life. What good is that? Where is the thrill and excitement from not knowing what is coming next? It is hardship and challenges that develop people to improve and become better. We learn from our mistakes, and mistakes are an essential part of living.
