the game security kept flagging my logitech keyboard software. turned it off and it ran but would refuse to start if i had it running. how disappointing.

would absolutely recommend this game. i may not like racing games normally but this game is a gem, from the visuals to the soundtrack to the changes to the game play. (don't be fooled this game can get seriously challenging.

love the game and it is honestly amazing.
HOWEVER with major patch #7 anyone with mods that isn't authorized by larians partner mods.io will not work. (aka nexus and the rest) it will refuse to load any save that has "3rd party" and if you try it will send you back to the title screen. this will also happen if you try and start a new game..

i hope it is fixed but i don't expect it to be. i just hope i am wrong. the modding community was great and wild. unfortunately if this continues most modding will not exist anymore and any chance of it growing instead will be very unlikely.

very well done. new character is alot of fun (kinda broken if you can stack rods on bosses lol)
the new palattes are wild. they change NOT ONLY your character but ALSO the effects of ALL skills. it is awesome!

i don't know what they did but as of july 20th? ish i have been having enormous stutter spikes. i don't know what i causing it and i have tried lowering graphics,validating files,turning off steam overlay ecs but nothing has worked. whatever they did royally made it impossible to do some games modes since they require flawless runs.one shutter spike and that trail is ruined. if there wasn't so many it wouldn't be so problematic. until they fix the spikes then i wouldn't recommend it for now.

great game. one of the few rogue like that.....i actually like.
they have been adding alot of things and the dev's suprisingly care about balance on both sides. game is overall fun.
there is both a normal and a hard mode (which can be farther customized)
trying to explain the customization would take forever because of how much there can be.

as someone who 100%ed the game, 58$ for this game? it should be 20 since it has been in "early access" for 10 years. they changed the progression for it so much in a worse way. it is more "smooth" to say but it creates some seriously annoying situations if you play with friends but people don't want to micromanage your loot.

adding enigma was a pointless and infuriating idea. you damaged the game people loved. why do companies keep doing nonsense.

the game doesn't hold you're hand on anything. it is all up to you to figure it out, good luck.
a challenging top down game with intense combat and atmospheric world.

the hitboxes at times do not make any sense.

there are somethings that are hilariously unfair if you use a moderate or low weight builds.
almost every enemy has a kick or knockback. it wouldn't be so bad if the recovery was slightly higher.
shield enemies cannot be staggered and deflection by basic attacks (hitting them) on shields are very high your only window to attack is when they are about to strike you, if you are slower you can only parry to gain that window for 1-2 attacks.
there is no downed attack on enemies when you poise break them.
however there is when there is a poise break on you if they down you.

as a souls lover i love the premise and i hope they fix the problems in time.
i changed my review based off of the complaints i had. most of them have been fixed now.

hotkeys still cannot be rebound but it isn't too bad.
there is stuttering (including sound stuttering).
no crashing or anything.

re-review, . loved this game but i am so tired of them "fixing it" was excited for this warbond but they killed the game with it.
"if it isn't broken don't fix it"

i am so freaking tired of them nerfing us so damn hard and just increasing mob count. that was one of the biggest issues AT THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME!
they nerfed the breaker and rail gun for the same reason! then later nerfed eruptor into the floor.

you later nerfed our AMMO by 1/2 so we would "search the map for ammo to make it more dynamic"

you BUFF the enemies and increase the little mobs which was fine after you decreased the heavies but then you increase the amount of heavies as if you never made the nerf in the freaking first place!

honestly done with this game.

you later nerfed the flamethrower so it is practically useless.... so freaking tired of you nerfing us when you keep making things harder and harder for what......REALISM?! you are so out of touch it is a joke at this point.
