I'd love to give this game neutral review. My spouse and I had a fun time beating "A Way Out" together but oftentimes that wasn't due to the gameplay but because of the ridiculously stilted, cliché-ridden writing; we were enjoying it in a so-bad-it's-good kinda way. The gameplay itself is often very limited, there's only a handful of times when real coordination is required that goes beyond "Let's press X at the same time". Unskippable cut scenes are not a problem during regular play but were definitely a pain in the butt when we went back for achievement hunting. The graphics are mostly nice to look at but some of the character models are just off.

It's really a mixed bag but because it was enjoyable enough and didn't overstay its welcome I'm giving "A Way Out" a positive review.
