Scam.

Game message:
- "Strong females" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. The main character, antagonist and almost all other important characters are females, very strong of course. The only more or less important male character is reincarnation of another "strong female" from another universe, LOL. All enemies and regular stupid chars are males and their only purpose is to say "oh, she is so clever and will save all of us! Praise %female_char_name%!".
Different notes and docs telling us about females and their wives.
Story:
- Regular, not good, not bad, become obvious in the middle of the game.
Gameplay:
- Medium with 80% of useless upgrades and gadgets, the only good thing is idea with shadows.
Visuals:
- Nice and stylish, I liked it. The only thing that was keeping me in the game.
Summary:
- Another "modern audience" message just not so blunt and stupid as DA:Veilguard. The bad thing is that when I realized that it was too late to refund.

Have you ever had fever induced bad dream? So weird that you're feeling worried about your own sanity for the rest of the day? "No way it was produced by my brain..." - you're thinking sitting on the bed in cold sweat trying to calm down. Something like this I felt playing this game. All in the game - twitchy, laggy controls and picture, dialogues, story (especially!) - everything generates total impression of some delusion, scizophrenia.
It is mockery on sci-fi genre.
The only relatively well done aspect you can see at game's store page screenshots. Yea, I'm about visuals.

Incredibly terrible game. And I'm not about nudity, porn, sex and hell tematics - thats ok for me. I'm about gameplay. It is ... disguisting.
1) Attacks are VERY SLOW and have huge inertia. It feels like you control not fierce demon but some weakling who never visited gym in his life. Regular enemies (most of them at least) hit way faster that you!
2) Kick is slow and has short range - almost useless.
3) Finishing moves often just don't register. Get used to mash button "perform glory kill" hoping the game will finally decide to execute what you want - and enemies will not stand still meanwhile!
4) Forces (magic) like slowness, bait or tower are often bugging and have no effect - you're casting them but nothing happens.
5) Fighting with big enemies is always using spear (on hard) - because of range. Other weapons are not usable.
6) My favorite - USE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EGGS TO DESTROY SOMETHING!! It's just impossible to describe. Clumsy controls, obstructed view from flying ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (literally) and constant creeps attacks when trying to handle exploding egg that autoaims enemies but not required target - enjoy it at max!
7) And the last what made me delete the game - chekpoints. Be prepared to play for 20 min, fail at some point and be sent back to the beginning of the level. No guys, your game is bad enough even without this "let's make player replay the whole level" things.

Playing games like this is kinda masturbate with grater. It hurts and not enjoyable but very faint feeling of pleasure is present and you hope for better(visuals). Everything else is just pain (story - just absent, sometimes you have no clue what the ♥♥♥♥ the game wants from you, clumsy jumping, view is very often obstructed and you act blindly, "run away from that ♥♥♥♥" episodes every 20 minutes ...).
Just bad.

Two "strong females" meet me from the very start of the game. They're are trying to command me and being rude from the very beginning - and I even didn't leave flying ship yet and did nothing bad to them! Oooooh...
I've got it, Larian. I bet 80% of positive, dangerous, tough and respectful characters in the game are females and 80% of weak, mean, pathetic and cowardly are males. Don't want to waste my time to make sure.
I think I'll better replay Mass Effect trilogy, Bordelands 1-2 or The Witcher - at least these game's creators are aware of adequate characters design and didn't put their lives to prove "women are strong and men are ♥♥♥♥".
P.S. Farewell, Larian. Your games were never top tier for me but at least they were for me something I felt "well, let's try some new experience". Alas (.

1) Не зберігаються налаштування керування між завантаженнями.
2) Не можлива призначити середню кнопку (або щось інше крім першої чи другої) миші для кидка гранат.
3) При заході в меню, яке хоч і стильне, але після того тебе кидає на початок рівня. Відразу думки про "а нафіга ті понти, якщо воно не працює нормально".
4) Якщо вийшов в меню щось поправити під час прологу, а потім вертаєшся до гри, то персонаж перестає реагувати на клавіші атаки і ти не можеш дістатися до пістолета, бо треба вдарити по кнопці.

♥♥♥♥♥♥ "modern audience" characters, story etc. Gameplay is just collection of annoying clisches - timers, no inventory, no armor and weapons you are used to, very scarce healing and you are forced to play as "frightenet rabbit", and... well have no wish to describe anymore. Avoid at all cost.

I dropped on the part when woudned teen girl beats adult sheriff in melee and disarms him!!! and shoots him!!!. I'm done.
Oh, by the way, if you are missing ridiculous "modern characters" - they are all here, in the game. Stupid, pathetic crybabies males and classic "strong bossy" females. Asian girl has got bigger balls than all so called "males" together. Homosexual contex (of course between males only) included.
