It's ok, albeit really grindy. I get burnt out on this game pretty easily, especially when a character I worked hard and long on dies, but that's just how the game works. I recommend giving it a try if you're into hardcore survival games, but the game makes it very clear: you will die. You will lose all learned skills, but can respawn as a new character in the world and keep the resources you have gathered, assuming you can reclaim your base and/or find your shambling corpse.
