If you are even remotely into aviation, even as a pedestrian enthusiast, you will thoroughly love this flight simulation. It is a totally immersive experience that really fascinates your imagination and gives you some sense of what it must be like for real pilots. Word of caution, the game is a complete platform with plenty of add-ons and mods available so it can be very system demanding. Not for the faint of Hardware...make sure you have BETTER THAN minimum requirements before even attempting to get this game. If you have a relatively robust system with good graphics, you'll fall in love - my hardware list is shared below for you, and that was an upgrade to enjoy the sim more.
The other thing you need is time and patience to learn and enjoy the journey. I have over 5000 hours into the sim now (mostly commercial jet time) and feel like I am only beginning the journey. MSFS and the good folks at ASOBO work hard to give us a great simulation, so please be patient with them too as they continue to expand, tweak, update, comment, and blow our minds away with their amazing passion for aviation brought right to our homes!

As a bonus, all of the Community Discussion Boards and Youtube guides available on various channels (even from real pilots) makes this a potentially serious hobby. Seriously, for you brand new folks you can literally type into the Google, Discord, or Youtube search bar, "How do I start my [Boeing 737] in MSFS2020?" or "What is an "ILS landing?" or "How do I calculate Take Off Performance in my Airbus A32X by Fly By Wire?" It doesn't matter what you are looking for, someone will help you out there, YOU ARE NOT ALONE in this journey, and some of these content creators are so talented, and just salt of the earth people, I feel truly thankful for them. Remember to support them! Happy Flying to you!

Cory, so true...I keep visiting the 320SimPilot Youtube channel for my lessons and also keep drooling over the "Manta" Apex build he keeps parading in front of me, crazy expensive but what a dream. Thanks for the comment and the link!

Thanks Zigmo I have now even picked up a Navigraph account and generate all my flightplans in Simbrief, this sim is just unbelievable.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I bought this game curious as to what a pilot goes through before takeoff and I've found myself learning so much more as a result.
