jesus christ this game is hard

One of if not the most dedicated devs I've ever seen. The game came out in 2014, from a HL2 mod earlier than that, and New World Interactive has not only been steadily improving the gameplay and game performance, but has made a total conversion mod "Day of Inframy" to go along with it for free. Definite replayability

My bootcamped Mac can run Planetside 2 on medium settings better than this game runs on OS X on low. Frames crash during combat, computer gets hot, graphics set on so low I can't even read the controls. Game runs like ass.

Challenging, randomized, permadeath, all with solid mechanics that make you want to come back for more. A lot more fun if you drop the expectation of winning the first, second, or fifth time through and focus on using the tight gameplay/multiple playstyles to your advantage. Amazing soundtrack.
