Eragon (2006) is the best movie ever made, and here's why. First off, Its got a ton of dragons in it. The dragons in this movie far surpass any other movie dragons, including the ones in Harry Potter (not as good as Eragon) and Lord of the Rings (way worse than Eragon. Also don't even get me started on How to Train Your Dragon, it was a total ripoff of Eragon. This film has an incredible storyline, and it doesn't let go from start to finish. Here's a brief summary of the story.The Kingdom of Alagaesia is ruled by the evil King Galbatorix, a former dragon rider that betrayed his mates and his people in his quest for power. When the orphan farm boy Eragon finds a blue stone sent by Princess Arya, he sooner realizes that it is a dragon egg. When the dragon Saphira is born, Eragon meets his mentor Brom, and becomes the dragon rider foreseen in an ancient prophecy that would set his people free from the tyrant Galbatorix. Eragon meets the rebels Varden and together they fight against the evil sorcerer Durza and the army of Galbatorix in a journey for freedom.Honestly, the best part about this film is that there's literally zero character development throughout the movie. Character development is way too mainstream nowadays, so its so refreshing to see a movie have the blandest characters delivering really unmotivated dialogue. I love it. I also really like that this movie is all exposition. By the end of the movie you're really like, "wow, I can't wait for the story to start" and then the movie ends.I bet you're thinking, "What the heck Brady, Eragon is terrible." Well, one man's trash is another man's treasure, and Eragon is by far the greatest film ever made. Maybe you should give it a watch and rethink your opinion.While I'm on the topic of movies, I'd like to go in depth about why Spider-man: Homecoming is the worst movie I've ever seen. First off, Tom Holland barely even cries throughout the whole movie. The best part about the original Spider-man trilogy is that Toby McGuire cried ALL THE TIME. If Spidey isn't crying all the time, then I don't wanna see it.The movie also just doesn't make any gosh darn sense. I mean, the freakin BIRDMAN was the villain in this movie and not once did he talk about his play, I feel like that was definitely essential to his character. I also REALLY hated Iron Man in this movie. He's just a dumb rich guy who's got Siri telling him how to fight and he almost lost to Captain America and that dude's like 70 years old. How the heck does a big metal guy lose to a senior citizen.So lets talk about Spider-man himself. First off, how the heck does this guys suit not rip open all the time. It looks like its made out of velvet. And where does he keep all of his webbing??? I don't see a backpack anywhere, and this dude is shooting webs all over the darn place. Second, the dude is a total nerd, I was so happy when his friend dropped Peter's Lego Death Star. Take that nerd.Overall I give Spider-man: Homecoming a solid 0 out of ten. There's no crying, The villain won't embrace his artistic side, Iron Man sucks, and Peter Parker is a nerd. Honestly if you're one of the people who likes this movie I think you should go watch Eragon. It's way better. [soundcloud.com]
