Full Game Review, No Spoilers.

Laika Aged Through Blood is a game that goes hard from the very start and does not drop the power. It is a Motorcycle style Metroidvania, which is nice by itself, talking a lot about the horrors of war and how it tears families apart.

For story, I felt it was well done. The main character has a corruption arc as she become more and more jaded and focused on protecting her family. There is a part through the game where this shift is more showing than before.

Gameplay is good. I suck but that is just me. You make flips to reload and get parries, good stuff.

Characters are all funny. Zooey, my beloved. Even the naming convention for places are top tier and enoke something that few games have ever done; genuine dread.

Enemies and save points are all usually fair, though a certain enemy is a bit too much to the point I just drove past a quest objective.

The game is a very solid 9/10 for me. I am not gonna 100% it, but it is one of the better games I have played in recent times.

There is a lot to like about this game. The fact it uses Pathfinder 2e rules is a huge plus. However what really won me over was the voice acting.

Yes the voice acting was less than A-tier, but that is what made it so perfect! It gave the vibes of a home group playing without all the bells and whistles you see in online shows.

Absolutely astounding game, and I can not wait to see what more is up for this company.

Is this game quite unfair? Yeah.
I feel this game would be amazing as a multiplayer title where the GM takes control of the enemies and the different players play characters.

Despite that this game is phenomenal and my only real gripe is that it uses Pathfinder First Edition.
Which is fair as it was released before Pathfinder Second Edition came out.

Owlcat has made a gem and the only real mistakes were on myself being absolutely blind and having to double check stuff.
