Yeah John Carmack was talking about developing some sort of virtual reality type system for Doom3/Rage stuff in a recent speech. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wt-iVFxgFWk Not sure how I feel about it until trying a prototype.

WUTDAJEEZ? Someone is developing something for pcs called " Occulus Rift " , it's a thing like the virtual reality goggles in The Sims 3 and you put them on and then the graphics look realistic and it looks like you are IN the game. Say hello to peoples' injuries.

Hmm yeah we can probably find a card like that. The trick is you need a "low power consumption" one because you aren't using a hot rod power supply.
