Just like the older Stalker games, there's going to be issues. But as someone who fell in love with the games a few years ago, this game fulfills that immersive, single player experience that I love and it's a world and a game I can get sucked into. If I didn't have school and a full-time job, I'd have many more hours. The fact that they have been open to community feedback and pretty quick with patches means this game will quickly become more and more playable. Performance has been much improved after the most recent large patch (for myself). They've kept some of the sounds from the original games and it brings me joy with the little attention to details. Being a world that you can travel through seamlessly really makes a difference and the fact modding is fully supported, I cannot wait to see what people can do with this game as time goes on. This could be my new Skyrim that I can come back to and play. I fully intend on doing another play through on the hardest difficulty with all the HUD turned off at some point.
