More unlocks is fun to work on, cool cosmetics. Worth supporting the dev!

Very fun RPG that has a gorgeous art style and fun dialogue. Pretty good pacing, interesting twists that I enjoyed. Overall highly recommend the game. Honestly I was only wishing I could get more out of it. Only awkward part is trying to earn achievements intended for co-op. Having to earn them solo was a tad annoying and also felt bad, lol.

Incredibly fun game, well worth the price of admission! Having a blast exterminating xenos in the name of the Emperor! Continual updates has been a fun, steady pace. Customizing your character feels so much like designing a miniature. If you're at all a fan of WH40K or even just looking for a new gears of war type of game, check this out.

Really fun game, I enjoyed playing through it while I wait for Silksong to one day be released! Although the story was light it was enjoyable, the art style was absolutely gorgeous, and overall the platforming was fun. It is definitely worth the price point and you can feel the influences from Ori, Hollow Knight and Celeste, all very great games to borrow from. On that note some of the boss fights may not ALL have the most original abilities, but they are well implemented and were fun to experience. I'm confused about people complaining about boss difficulty - most of the bosses in here you can beat in a handful of tries if you're a veteran of the other games I mentioned. If you find yourself stuck for long periods of time, I think that's a you issue - people not recommending this game because they couldn't get past bosses just sounds like salty diva's.

Game is hot and fun. Waifus are raunchy and well animated. Sometimes over the top voice acting has been very entertaining, Would recommend to all you gooners out there 10/10.

Edit: After completing the game I also ran into very few bugs. A couple of achievements aren't unlocking right now but outside of that it has run really smooth.

Disgaea 4 continues the tradition of a general lighthearted upbeat playthrough that the series has been known for. I really enjoyed Valvatorez as the protagonist with Fenrich as his trusted companion. If you've played other entries into the series you know what you're getting into at this point. NIS has also made some of the more difficult and grind heavy challenges a lot simpler in this version so there's a heavily reduced RNG factor when it comes to some of the late game objectives. The only difficulty I had was playing this game AFTER Disgaea 5, which felt like a step backwards (it obviously literally is), but the charm of the story made up for some of the loss of features or quality of life improvements that it's successor has. Would recommend, but if you have the opportunity play it BEFORE Disgaea 5 to just enjoy it for what it is and not be bothered by what was improved upon later.

This is in my humble opinion the peak Disgaea game experience. I've sunk hundreds of hours into Disgaea 1, 2, 4 and 5.. and this title has clearly benefited from being the successor to those previous games in the franchise.

The sheer amount of content in the game is very satisfying, and the quality of life improvements they've made in Disgaea 5 make it difficult to go back to playing earlier games in the series. The level of work that was put into the art, the voice acting, even the UI and systems feels top tier. This game was clearly a labor of love and it shows. Considering there's a sale going on for all NIS titles getting this game discounted is a steal for its pricepoint.

If you enjoyed any of the previous entries in the Disgaea series this is a no brainer purchase. Also fans of FFTactics, Tactics Ogre, Jeanne D'Arc and other similar titles may want to give this game a look. If you love funny, quirky characters with a silly at times but also wholesome atmosphere the roster excels in bringing a lot of comedy and heartfelt moments. For the fans of min/max and grinding there is plenty to do here but they made it SO much simpler and easier than previous titles it feels so much more new player friendly.

I will admit as the series has grown more systems have been put in place and may seem overwhelming but remember there is a lot of information/guides out if you feel truly lost, but the great thing about this game is you can just have fun and worry about maxing out characters later if that's your goal. If not, then you can casually play through and just enjoy the time you spend in the game. Cannot recommend this game more highly to fans of tactical RPGs.

Warhammer 40k was made for an X-Com style of adaptation, and this so far seems really well done. Will update the review further when I see more of the game, but from the start it's been an excellent introduction.

Updated Edit: Held up really well, very fun game and really felt the power of the Grey Knights. There came a point where I was locked into finishing the game or losing, and I didn't love how I couldn't complete some of my objectives by then - felt resource starved throughout a lot of the game (for ship upgrades and some of the codex research). Probably a lot of that was my own mistake as a first playthrough. Solid tactical game.

As a spiritual successor to Battlechasers, I think Ruined King improves upon the formula Airship Syndicate already mastered. As a nod to RPGs from the past with a lot of quality of life improvements, I've really enjoyed playing through this game twice. Despite a few glitches/bugs here and there, it's been a fairly smooth and enjoyable playthrough. Would definitely recommend for anyone who enjoyed Battlechasers or is just looking for a fun singleplayer RPG (you don't need to have any prior League of Legends knowledge to jump in). The only disappointment I had so far was that there was no option for NG+, which meant some of the final pacing of the game felt a bit rushed - as far as best weapons/gear is concerned; there wasn't a lot of time to showcase that stuff after the effort you put in to acquire it. For it's originally pricepoint of 30$ I think Ruined King is well worth it.

Larian has improved upon their model tenfold with creating Divinity 2. The addition of a four player multiplayer support has made the game even more inclusive to play with friends - and the enhancements to combat and dialogue is a wonderful addition. I recommend this game highly - with a lot of replayability based on how you decided to play the game, there are tons of secrets to discover in a second or third time through. It's even been updated to an enhanced edition - again listening to feedback and wanting to deliver the best experience possible. You won't be disappointed!
