REVIEW IN PROGRESS

So, I'm almost 20 hours in to WTF do I do now (Graveyard Kepper) Simulator and I think I can write up a decent enough starting review and update at a later date.

Graveyard Keeper is, as far as I'm aware, the only graveyard keeper sim on the market and that gives it a very unique setting as far as games go.
The art style is fantastic and being 20 hours in and feeling like I still haven't scratched the surface as well as being a very hands on and head scratching game, I feel I have already got my £15 worth and then some! As it stands, I recommend the game if you're fans of this kind of genre.

THE GOOD
* Very unique setting and great art style
* Deep crafting system with hundreds of items including workbenches, crops, tools, ores, flowers, TOMBSTONES , frogs, fish, CORPSE PARTS and that's to name a few
* Large map with plenty to see and explore
* Wide array of tasks to complete including AUTOPSIES =o , Grave digging, grave decorating, gravyard gardening, fishing, cooking, mining, farming, alchemy, FEEDING A TALKING SKULL BEER and much more.
* Several "tech" trees to max out ranging from church development to anatomy and embalming
* Lots of quests
* Plenty of those EUREKA! moments when you figure out how to do something

THE BAD
* Energy system that requires constant bedrest or food intake that would naturally kill a man
* No character customization, would be cook to look like someone out of Bloodborne
* Quests can be rather fetchy
* Village doesn't feel "alive" important NPCs mostly stand around
* Sometimes task list feels TOO large
* Music doesn't feel too varied?
* Sermons are a bit bland
* Story, whilst there, Isn't massively engaging

All in all I feel at this time the good definitly far outweighs the bad. I'm having fun discovering what the game has to offer and optimizing my days and finding there's more to the game than simply managing a graveyard. I'll update the review once I feel I've "finished" the game!

Thanks for reading
