Best game ever!

The game was gifted to me by a friend, but the price was recently increased without warning. It becomes unplayable because of lag at a certain point and not enough content was added in recent updates to justify the price increase. I do not recommend it currently. Before the lag becomes unbearable it's really fun to play with friends and the various bugs keep it interesting! But full price is too much currently.

Although the devs have added a fair amount of content the game has slowly become a lot less fun.

The first issue was the removal of queuing in a room with a chance to become the raider. It turned almost everyone into a mainly solo player and pretty much all players want this added back, but the requests have been ignored. The block and report features added would be more than enough to deal with people teaming up with the raider, however reporting doesn't seem to do anything.

The second main issue is that there is no separation between ranked and casual. This used to be a somewhat causal game for me where MOST people just wanted to have fun, but when ranked was added players started to take the game so much more seriously as they want the rewards at the top that are very hard to get, which would be fine if there was a way to opt out of ranked.

Ranked also doesn't work well. Since the addition of Cross Platform, it's much easier to find a game which is good, however, it also means many players at different skill levels started playing together. Ranked is supposed to put everyone on a some what equal skill level. This is almost never the case. Almost every match I play, survivors and the raider are either a way higher or lower rank compared to me.

Although toxicity has always been an issue in the community, I feel like this has made it a lot worse, as some players only care about getting up in rank.

The only solution I think, is to play in a group with friends with a similar mindset, but most of the time, that isn't possible, people would rather play solo and possibly meet people that way, or they just want to play raider.

Another issue is when a new raider is released (Which costs micro transaction currency) it takes a long time for them to be balanced, so you often find that is the only raider chosen and it's extremely hard to beat them compared to other raiders.

I cannot recommend the game for the time being.

It's good if you can't afford Overwatch.

They should remove co op from the tags, the main story is impossible to play with others. I'm sick of these MMOs claiming muiltipayer but they completely fail on story. Is it really that hard to include other players in the story instead of making everything a single play instance like every other MMO? May as well make it a single player game with raid and dungeon modes.
