***MINOR SPOILER WARNING***

Let's start this review out with comparing it to Ashes of Ariandel which in my opinion was the worst DLC ever in the Souls series.
BOSSES:
Ashes of Ariandel had 2 bosses where only 1 felt good fighting and I had genuinely fun fighting.
Whereas The Ringed City has 4 bosses where 2 of them are the most amazing bosses I've ever fought and where one is a neat thing that'll be pretty cool the more people get into it. And then there's the third which kinda disappointed me cause it feels like they have to put this boss in every single Dark Souls game.

LENGTH:
Ashes of Ariandel was probably the shortest DLC and it didn't take long until you had explored everything in it and beaten all of it, during my first playthrough it took me 4hours with my friend and it was just annoying how little content was there.
The Ringed City on the other hand took me about 2days to fully complete and every little secret and storyline had me genuinly interested in what was happening. It's long and has several different areas that are so well made and gives so much satisfaction playing through them.

ITEMS:
Ashes of Ariandel had a few cool weapons and maybe 1 or 2 spells that were interesting, everyone ended up using Friede's Scythe or Valorheart in the end anyway. Armour was disappointing.
The Ringed City has so many amazing weapons and I love using all of them, there's also a few really cool spells that have been added and I must say I'm impressed. All the new armour sets are so well done and if you care about lore you'll be really happy about what they have added.

Final Words:
The Ringed City is one of the best DLCs that they've ever made, it's on par with Artorias of the Abyss for Dark Souls if not better. The weapons, the armour and the spells are all well designed and there's not one thing that'll end up rotting in your armour box. The bosses felt amazing fighting and you can usually find my summon outside the last boss as it's my favourite boss EVER.
Well done From Soft, I am impressed.
