Because they're russian, if they think for even a second they have an ounce of power over others they'll try and abuse it, its nothing exclusive to exbo.

But the sad fact is they're acting like this because they're floundering. The RU server players spent all last year waking up and realizing how screwed they've been treated seeing Global players get all their ♥♥♥♥ for basically free while those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ paid out the ass for progression.

I agree, deep down its got a LOT of potential its just grossly mismanaged and basically hamstrung under the care of Exbo.

Ya its messed up and I dont know why they dont try to make things better for everyone. Honestly Its a pretty damn solid game when you think about it. Its got a decent story, great lore, and they have been able to do something with an FPS MMO that I havent seen before. I actually am getting kind of frustrated with the game and may end up quitting. Ive got about 250 hours into it, and I finally just hit a point where I felt like something fishy and unfair is going on for sure. The game is kind of designed to elevate the whales, and thats simply not something im interested in.

But you are right, they are doing all this to pigeonhole players into going to places like Dead City, Graveyard, Army Warehouse, Path Of Fools, and then the north. All so these newbies can go and act like fodder for the higher end players to slaughter. They've been doing this all last year. It burns out new players and kills good will but with tactful marketing they can bring in a steady stream of players to keep restocking the burnt out ones. Its why new accounts always seem to have REALLY good luck in finding the more choice items in crates. I've literally seen several newbie players pull ♥♥♥♥ like the Albatros Scout and the Elbrus from less than 5 crates its absolutely boggling.

They have literally stolen from their users before. They stole items I bought FROM THEM during the Dead Man's Marathon event with no compensation (though they took the same items the following christmas event and gave compensation tokens that STILL do nothing).

Just a few weeks back some players had their rubles stolen by exbo because the sold some premium tokens, legitimately purchased from Exbo, because the buyers RMT'd their money but the victim was not returned their premium tokens and the RMTer got off scotch free.

And that's not even touching on the lack of a functioning anticheat, how badly NA gets shafted with proper moderation so cheaters go unpunished for quite some time (and even then its only a char ban and not an account ban). The lack of a functioning match making. Lack of end game content that is more than just run forward and shoot enemy.
