Very relaxing and surreal game. Collectathon with really likeable characters and interactions, and interesting story. I'm very interested in where they go with the Bugsnax universe.

Such a cute and relaxing game. You really feel the progression exploring more and more new environments and encountering different slimes. Super excited for #2.

I was today years old when I found out the guy who voices Baal also voices Guido.

RPG MO truely is a kickback to old-school online RPGs. The graphics and gameplay are very nostalgic and addictive, and I can honestly say that it wasn't hard to put a couple hundred hours into this game. With that being said, I can't recommend it -- why, you might ask? It may sound cliche, but, that's right, you got it, the management. :/

(*As an initial note, I have never been muted or banned in the entirety of my gameplay.*)

I'm not going to generalize, because the majority of the mods (who simply love and play the game enough to volunteer their time to help keep the peace) are nice folks, and very level-headed. However, it's impossible to play the game for a decent amount of time without witnessing at least couple of them (who shall remain unnamed), show an insane amount of bias towards certain players they like (who shall also remained unnamed), or act out in entirely immature ways that just cannot be respected.

This wouldn't be such a problem, except they are immune to criticism. Openly voicing your concern will get you muted/banned (as I've witnessed happen on many occasions), and reporting said behavior to the developers is useless, because they also show favoritism and immaturity. If you take a gander through posts and replies that the developer had made to reviews, you can view this child-like temperament in action.

It's a damn shame, because the game has promise, but I can't see suitable growth or longetivity in the future, simply because of the lack of professionalism.

Long story short:

Pros -

*Old-school flavor
*Interesting maps to explore
*Addictive gameplay
*Consistent updates
*Helpful and friendly player-base
*Balanced cash shop

Cons -

*No animations (as of yet)
*Clunky movement
*Little variation between different skills
*Repetitive, mindless quests
*Unprofessional and power abusive mods
*Immature management

Playing RPG MO is like grinding away on one of your old nostalgic MMO's, all the while a rag-tag crew of fragile-egoed toddlers are in control of your account's fate.

I really wanted to try and finish Confrontation before I gave my opinion, but it's really just the same as the others. There are a couple of things that it does decently, but overall, it's just not a fun game. :/

Pros -

*Decent story and narration
*Difficult encounters that require strategic forethought
*Good battle music at various points of the game
*Customization of your mission group (choosing from a small variety of characters)

Cons -

*Dull scenery
*Repetitive level design
*Repetitive gameplay
*Delayed and clunky movement, controls, and combat
*Shallow character talent trees
*Terrible, boring and dishonest achievement ideas (I.E Kill '20' of a type of enemy, when in actuality it requires '50')

I'd give it a 4/10 -- couldn't finish.
