Vermintide 2 offers a fantastic atmosphere in each of its maps. Levels are greatly varied in terms of scenery and the player characters have an oddly entertaining group dynamic that doesnt feel forced. Both writers and voice actors did a great job there.

Enemy and player models convey the look/feel of Warhammer Fantasy perfectly and even the soundtrack ties it all together nicely.

Definitely play this with a group of friends though, and unless you are specifically interested in the DLC characters, i would advise to stay away from them. The Grail Knight for example is very fun to play, but i feel it takes away from the joy of my group when i have the ability to take out tough elites at the press of a button.

Heretical is a very satisfying and addictive roguelite.

The simple graphics appeal to me and convey the darker tone very well.

My personal highlight is the map. Exploring it blindly and unlocking more and more areas across various runs felt just right.

I believe the game becomes a little too easy as you progress, but all in all it is a fairly priced title that im sure the developers put a lot of love into.

Looking forward to more classes and areas of the map to be released!

Dungeonborne has been murdered by its own developers within the first month.

Its honestly impressive how much they mismanaged this game.

The new competitive mode "Clothos Trial" introduces and encourages RMT. Even leaving in this mode is encouraged, as it earns you gold when you pay with real money to enter. Leavers and the most obvious griefers are not punished. I have witnessed the same people leaving matches all weekend. They also pitch random groups against premade teams.

The extraction modes, due to class imbalance, are impossible to play at this point unless you bend to the meta. Instead of making obvious adjustments, the developers continue introducing new problems patch after patch, often worsening the situation. Even your random spawn can condemn you to certain death if you have a ranged class spawn above you as a melee. Fantastic design.

Congratulations Mithril Interactive, you have created the most insulting and frustrating multiplayer experience and somehow manage to make the thought of playing Dark and Darker appealing.

This game deserves its swift death.

Exactly what a remaster should be.

Returns seems to improve on every aspect of the original game. It looks crisp and offers great variety on customizing your gameplay experience. The large amount of characters to unlock, challenges to complete and artifacts to find will provide you with hours upon hours of fun but be warned: its addictive (I can still hear the soundtrack when i turn the game off).

2D just seems to work alot better for this franchise.

While the game definitely is a high quality product in terms of visuals and smooth gameplay, i cant say that i enjoyed it.

Eternal is the first Doom game ive played and i was very surprised to be faced with jumping puzzles. After briefly overlooking the store page, i just didnt see myself solving underwater riddles or searching for hidden walls to climb. These segments totally took the wind out of my sails during my playthrough.

I also wanna add that constantly doing these overly gory close up executions or finishers made me rather uncomfortable, but thats a personal thing and something i should have expected.

Lastly i wanna mention the story: The game did not do a great job at introducing new players to franchise. I often had no idea what was happening and did not feel very satisfied after forcing myself to complete it and its dlc packs.
